The Nu Black Vanguard strives to: 1. Create an environment for Black composers to thrive in all styles of music. 2. To support vanguard members and fellow Black musicians through acknowledgement of their deeds and success. 3. To fight for the advancement of Black composers and musicians in the medium of music.
